y KOREROTo communicate: to describe telling a story, a message, an event or a place.
Red brick clay from Otago is used to make 'self framed' message pictures. Each curved tablet has a gloss glazed image slip trailed or stamped into the surface. The curve emphasises the frame, and a wire hanger is inserted while the work is still soft. The piece is then fired, hand painted with 3 coats of gloss glaze, then re-fired. Korero are designed to hang on the wall or simply sit on a desk top. They measure approximately 60mm, and fit into the same box the mahe are packed in. Popular as corporate gifts, for conferences, client or staff rewards, and as koha when travelling overseas. These can be personalised using your logo or name in either the packaging or incorporating it in the design of the piece. Contact me or your nearest outlet for details and prices
